Research LeadBright has over a decade of experience in policy analysis, advocacy, and capacity building. As an Agricultural Policy Analyst, he has led diverse research initiatives spanning both micro and macro policy dimensions within the agri-policy landscape. He provides strategic leadership, ensuring the department’s research outputs meet high standards of rigor and relevance. He oversees econometric data analysis, research quality control, and training programs. Bright holds an MSc in Agricultural and Applied Economics and is in the final stages of completing his PhD in Agricultural Economics.

COLLINS BULINDA
Programmes LeadCollins is a seasoned Programmes Lead and Value Chains Specialist with extensive experience in design, implementation, management and evaluation of agricultural and social protection programmes. His expertise lies in developing value chain strategies that boost market access, productivity, and value addition for smallholder farmers while aligning with broader social protection goals, such as poverty reduction and food security. Collins is adept at implementing robust monitoring and evaluation systems to assess program impact, ensure adaptive management, and optimize outcomes. He holds an Msc. in Agribusiness Management.

MORIS KEMBOI
Head of FinanceMorris is a Certified Public Accountant with extensive expertise in streamlining financial operations through business process optimization and enhancing organizational efficiency. He is adept at maintaining and developing robust financial systems and accounting procedures, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. As the Head of Finance at BRICS, Morris provides strategic leadership in financial management, contributing to long-term fiscal planning and operational excellence. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degre.

EDITH WAIRIMU
Livestock Sector Value Chains SpecialistEdith is a seasoned specialist in livestock sector value chains with extensive expertise in agricultural market systems, particularly in optimizing market access for underserved populations. She possesses in-depth regional knowledge across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Somalia, and the wider Horn of Africa and Sahel regions. Her work spans critical cross-cutting areas, including gender-disaggregated analysis, technology adoption, the evaluation of emerging livestock markets, and impact assessments of sectoral interventions. Edith holds a PhD in Agricultural and Applied Economics.

Godwin has a BSc. in Computer Science.

With a strong foundation in content creation, digital marketing, and public relations, Longinus excels at translating complex research findings into accessible and engaging materials for diverse audiences. His expertise are in managing social media, drafting press releases, and coordinating outreach campaigns ensures that our work gains the visibility and recognition it deserves. He is dedicated to fostering strong relationships with our stakeholders and enhancing the firm's brand through strategic, well-targeted communications. Longinus has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in film production.

REINHARDT BONKE ONYANGO
Data analystBonke is an econometrician and a quantitative analysis specialist at BRICS. He is skilled in designing econometric models that assess economic relationships, forecast trends, and evaluate policy impacts. He is quite proficient in software like STATA, R and Python to provide robust, actionable insights using data that guides our work. His work is critical in interpreting complex data sets, improving model accuracy, and guiding both micro and macroeconomic research efforts, driving strategic initiatives within the firm. Bonke holds an Msc. in Agricultural Economics with a focus on Applied Econometrics.
